Cookies Policy

Travelier Motel LLC
Last updated: November 19, 2025
Yeah, we use cookies. Not the chocolate-chip kind (sadly), but the tiny bits of code that make the site work nicely. This page explains exactly what we drop on your device, why, and how to kick them out if you don’t want them hanging around.

What cookies actually do on our site
When you land here, a couple of small files get saved so the site remembers if you prefer dark mode or light mode, so you don’t have to switch it every single visit. Another one keeps track of where you clicked so we can see which parts people actually read and which ones make everyone leave instantly. That’s pretty much it. Nothing fancy, nothing creepy.

The exact cookies we use right now
One is called “theme” and only stores the word “dark” or “light”. Another one is from the analytics tool and has a random string like “_ga_ABC123”. It counts visits and tells us if most people arrive from phones or laptops. A third tiny one appears only if you close the newsletter popup, it remembers that choice for 30 days so we don’t annoy you again immediately.

Advertising and tracking cookies
We don’t have any. Zero. No retargeting, no following you around the internet with ads for layover guides you already read. We hate that stuff too, so we simply don’t do it.

How long they live
The theme cookie stays until you clear your browser cache, basically forever unless you clean it. The analytics one expires after two years, but honestly nobody sits on the same browser that long. The popup cookie dies after 30 days.

Third-party stuff
Our analytics provider sees the same data we see, nothing more. They’re a big company with strict rules and they’re not allowed to use it for anything else. The maps we sometimes embed come from a well-known map service, they might drop their own tiny cookie, but we can’t control that and it’s only used to make the map load faster next time.

How to get rid of them or block them
Your browser has settings for this. Turn on “block all cookies” and the site still works perfectly, you’ll just have to pick dark or light mode again and we won’t know how many people actually read to the end. You can also click “delete cookies” any time and everything we ever saved disappears instantly.

If you’re in Europe or California and want extra control
There’s a small banner the first time you visit that lets you say yes or no to the analytics part. If you said no, we don’t set the analytics cookie at all. You can change your mind later in the footer link called “Cookie settings”.

Questions or something feels weird
Write to [email protected] or call +1 512-515-1934. We’ll explain in plain words, change whatever you want, or delete everything we have in two minutes.

We keep it minimal because we’d rather spend time testing new airport hotels than building complicated tracking empires. Thanks for visiting and safe travels!
